Pleasant Street Tea Co. - Gloucester

The tea company has become my family over the past five years. I worked there for 2 years and still drive 45 minutes once a week to sit and relax. Why more than a cafe.... It feels like home to a lot of customers.

My favorite coffee shop in town... Possibly in life. Every town needs a place like this- the barista, Trish, always brightens my day and makes me feel at home... and even makes up custom things that aren't on the menu. The atmosphere is very cozy, open, and clean feeling. There is wifi so I can sit and work. You should absolutely try the fancy hot chocolate (real melted chocolate and the scones with home-made sweat cream. (or swing by after the gym and get a gourmet protein shake!

I like the sandwiches, the coffees and tea's...service is usually solid, not always the fastest if you order a sandwich as everything is made to order. So just chill and enjoy the art work. I am glad to have this in the neighborhood

Edit They closed up shop. The place is empty now. Nice atmosphere. Nice seating. The drinks are good and the have almond milk it will make something with special requests even if it differs from the menu a bit. Sometimes the wifi goes out or they play music with ads.
