The Roastery Coffee House - Gloucester

I’ve visited The Roastery many times and have never been disappointed. I’m always met with a friendly welcome and the service always seems personal. The food and drink are always delicious and the new revamped menu is excellent. Gloucester is slowly being taken over by Costas so having The Roastery standing here as a bastion of light against the corporate take over is fantastic. Really good to have an independent local coffee house. Coffee is good too, as are the freshly made smoothies, cakes and Sarnies. The decor has taken the popular industrial theme, and the atmosphere is nice for a solo reader or a group chat. The cafe sources as much stuff foods and furnishings from local suppliers as possible. Would be improved further with a bigger premises with more distinct seating areas. Hopefully this is just the beginning.

I've never had a bad experience at the roastery. They offer both warm and cold dishes, and it's a dog-friendly place! I highly recommend trying their hot rolls and the hot chocolate!

This restaurant truly excels in the three essential elements of a café: generous coffee portions, delicious food, and outstanding staff. On a rainy December day, my first visit as a city dweller was met with an exceptional greeting and service. Honestly, it was one of the most beautiful places I’ve encountered this year, and it took me nearly the entire year to discover it! If I ever find myself back in the area, I will definitely return here and consider it a worthwhile detour.

I visited for breakfast today, my first time at this restaurant. It’s a lovely place with a wonderful staff, and the food was amazing. We tried the caramel iced latte and the bacon pancake, both of which were delicious! I will definitely come back again. Thank you!
