Buck's Pizza - Gloversville

I ordered an 8-slice pizza and a dozen wings. The total came out to $30 with tax, which was a bit surprising to me. I was expecting a decent-sized pizza, but it turned out to be only 10 inches and more like a personal size. The pizza was undercooked and very doughy, with canned mushrooms that were not cooked at all. It was a disappointment. The wings were good, but also on the smaller side. There are plenty of other better pizza places in town, so overall, this food was a huge letdown.

When I returned to the area, the main thing I was looking forward to was visiting certain restaurants, and Al's was at the top of my list. I have cherished memories of enjoying Sicilian-style pizza there as a child and later as an adult. Returning at almost 50 years old, I was hopeful that the food would still be as good as I remembered, and it was like a taste of my childhood. The pizza at Al's is the best I've had in Gloversville, and the restaurant itself has maintained its charm. Whether you are a local who knows the spot, have been recommended by someone, or found it through an online search (since the pizza shop has no sign), Al's is a must-visit. Their bread is also outstanding and brought me back to my youth. Thank you for the nostalgic experience. Al's pizza still ranks in my top three favorites of all time! We will definitely be back.

Buck's is our preferred choice for takeout or delivery. They are always accurate with their estimated time and have reasonable prices. The quality is generally consistent, with occasionally a bit more crunch but still enjoyable crust.

Ordered from here once, small pizza and luke warm wings for 30$ seemed to be bit pricey. After eating 2 slices and a few wings my wife and I had the same thought. Was it worth it? And honestly it wasn't, For 30$ we could have gone to Applebee's. The staff are friendly and they work really hard to stay alive in a pizza abundant town. People love these guys, others don't shop again. I'm the ladder.
