Dick Peg's Northward Inn - Gloversville

This is an amazing reaturant eating is always so fresh and it is perfectly prepared. what a warm welcome every time we went into the door. what does not love about the salatbar omg the artichokes heart and everything else. our meals were always perfectly prepared. the music is great, the atmosphere is amazing and clean we want it closer than a 45 minute drive, but it is so worth it. we are 35 years old and will continue. I can't say enough about the family that leads this wonderful place. I would give more stars if I could.

If you are looking for a fast and trendy meal, go somewhere else. Dick and Peg's have been in the same format business for many years and have followed a good local. It's an evening out, with a big bartender, and excellent food. The food is all cooked to order, a meal at a time. You do not take reservations, and you order your meal, and sit in the order you arrive. A cozy cocktail and a friendly conversation prepare you for excellent prepared American dishes. A small but tasty salad bar, followed by a big steak, and the best potatoes au gratin I had ever had, up in the evening in a very satisfying way. As I said above, if you are in a hurry or look for a trendy menu, then this place is not for you. But if you are in the mood for a relaxed evening with a great meal, then definitely five it a try.

I've been driving past this place since 2008, which is a mistake. I highly recommend it and will never happen again without stopping for a cocktail big mood.

Always amazing! It's a whole experience, quaint and cozy atmosphere, beautiful fire, delicious food and wonderful people!

Very good service. When you walk in it’s very well decorated and makes you feel as if you are home. They take time according to have your courses brought to you accordingly. Perfect portions. I left with no leftovers but a full stomach. The meals you can tell are made the minute it’s placed. I appreciate how much they served me with smiles and not at all pushing you to leave. Left the table and had conversations with some of the owners and we were able to share memories.Past this restaurant many times over many years and have never stopped till tonight and upset that I haven’t gone here sooner. Thank you again for amazing service even during COVID and seats being limited. I appreciate the meal and the smile that was on my face when I left.
