The best thing about Sonmez Hotel is the warmth, personal attention and helpfulness of its owner, Mr Ergun Sonmez, and his family. The hotel 's pool and bar area are very welcoming and beautiful. This is the first place I 've seen in Turkey where the pool and the bar don 't close till the guests are there enjoying. In Mr Sonmez 's own words 'You can swim all night if you want. We are here for enjoyment and entertainment ,not for military service '. That 's how one wants a hotel to be, not with strict rules and timings for everything. Bedrooms are comfortable, with AC. Buffet breakfast served in the front cafe of the hotel is fresh, fulfilling and authentic Turkish. Mr Sonmez was out entertaining his guests at the bar at 2 AM in the night, and is again at the breakfast cafe area at 10 AM, mingling with guests, and making sure everyone is comfortable. This is probably the secret of success of Sonmez Hotel.

The hotel is very good and the entertainment is very good too fire show and belly dancer the rooms are very clean staff is friendly the swimming pool is nice and clean its a very nice place they have all the sky channels too 7 day catch up and sport channels

Very nice chicken Kiev's and fruit cocktails. 10/10 would go again.

What a wonderful place. Wonderful host food to die for Well worth a visit when in Overcik.
