Riccardo Cibo E Vino - Goeteborg

This Italian restaurant is definitely one of the best in the city. The red wine is amazing, the pasta dishes are impeccable, and we adore the owner. We will definitely be returning for a third time!

The food at this restaurant was average and overpriced, and the woman serving us was pushy when it came to choosing our wine. I didn't appreciate being told what to order without asking for recommendations. I specifically requested a nice red wine, but was served a white wine instead, along with my friend who asked for Chianti. The service was quite aggressive and we ended up with glasses of wine we didn't even order.

Riccardo is a excellent alternative to the tourist traps infesting most of the area around Kungsportsavenyen. Good, down to earth Italian food, attentive service and reasonable prices. If you are looking for a place where people care about what they offer to eat and drink,...know their way around the food they serve and do take pride in the wines they serve look no further.

A very nice restaurant with good wine (from Sicily) and superb risotto! The restaurang (Swedish for restaurant) has a nice atmosphere and a great staff!

(out of of us had fantastic tasting rustic Italian food and the restaurant had genuine local resto atmosphere. Really charming with an Italian couple running this place with loads of pride. Working in the service industry myself I was astounded that service was...so inadequate. With the normal service attention we could have been willing to spend more time (and money here but the waiter was awkwardly inexperienced and waiting times way too long. No smiles, no charm, not making us feel welcomed. Today’s special was not much to taste and, because no one bothered to check if the food was ok until after about min after everyone finished the meal, very little to do anything about(although the owner offered). I would loved to have found a new fav restaurant in the fabulous city of Gothenburg, but I guess we will have to keep looking…
