It has been around for the longest time, opening in 1999, which means it has been operating in the area for 15 years. I remember a time when good options like this were rare in the region. I believe that with the increase in income, there has been space for higher quality services in the South Commercial Sector. Today, Casa da Roça shares the title of my favorite in the SCS with Sinhá Moça, but the latter is a bit more expensive. At Casa da Roça, the dining room is also more pleasant. But when it comes to the food, at this restaurant you will find a beautiful buffet per kilo, with the option of barbecue. The first part consists of salads, which are served very well with various options. In terms of hot dishes, there is always a special dish to complement the traditional but equally tasty rice and beans. They serve feijoada on Fridays and there is always an option for a very well-prepared dessert. Despite being busy during lunchtime, I have never had trouble finding a seat. At most, I may be asked to share a table with someone else who is dining alone.
