It is such a refreshing change to find a restaurant with an authentic menu where you can feel the love and care put into every aspect of the dining experience, rather than just having the usual vegetarian or gluten-free options. We ordered two appetizers, one main dish, and one dessert, along with a drink each. The stuffed zucchini flowers with almond feta were light, crunchy, and delicious. The cauliflower wings, deep-fried and served with tomato sauce and cashew cream dipping sauce, were a standout dish. For the main course, we had homemade baked meatballs with cauliflower cheese and shaved piquant, which were soft, tasty, and perfectly paired with the sauce and cheese. The pumpkin Alfredo gnocchi with rice paper bacon, truffle mushrooms, and cashew parmesan was hearty and filled with beautiful flavors. Despite finding the truffle a bit intense, the dish was still delicious. The dessert of deep-fried chocolate chip cookies with cake batter ice cream and strawberries was the perfect end to the meal, leaving us feeling satisfied and energized. The staff, including our server, were attentive and friendly. #Veganuary (Updated review as of January 19, 2024)
My partner and I went to this restaurant for dinner and I must say, it was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was beautiful and calming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding, a solid 12/10. It was truly one of the best meals I've ever had. To top it off, the bill was very reasonable considering the exceptional quality of the food. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant as soon as possible.
We arrived at the restaurant at 5:30 pm on Saturday and found it to be fairly quiet. We enjoyed the appetizers and dessert, but we were disappointed by the main dish we ordered, the pumpkin gnocchi.
Love the new location lovely leafy location and a relaxed vibe. The food is still superb. My stand out dish is still the stuffed zucchini flowers. Updated from previous review on 2022-10-11
Just discovered this little gem of a vegan restaurant a few weeks ago. The food was excellent gluten free options were available to cater for my son I. Being onion garlic free meant I had a much smaller selection of dishes to choose from, however I still managed to thoroughly enjoy what was on offer to me. My family devoured the stuffed zucchini flowers, eggplant parmigiana, roasted brussels beets the housemade meatballs , followed by the delicious pumpkin alfredo gnocchi, Vietnamese pancake, jackfruit nachos kale caesar. Such lovely flavours with the gnocchi being a clear favourite. The cocktails and mocktails were very tasty also. Sadly, the desserts left little to be desired. We shared the classic tiramisu and the baked lemon cheesecake only to find them both fairly bland in flavour. The tiramisu could really have used some added sweetness moisture. The cheesecake had a nice sauce, but the rest of it was a bit ho hum. The potential to make the dessert menu a bit more tasty exciting is definitely there. I hope they change that up a bit. As for the seating, we were very fortunate to get a table for four inside, which was lovely thank you. I don 't think the outdoor seating is very nice at all being right alongside parked cars on the Gold Coast Highway I would choose not to eat there if that was the only option to dine there. All in all it was a great experience, so thank you to the staff chef for a great dinner experience. We will definitely be back, as long as we can sit inside again.
