Chapter & Verse bar and lounge

We stayed at JW Marriott on Christmas Eve. The hotel was super busy and we ended up having drinks at Chapter and Verse. Godwin went out of his way to help us get a nice table with some great recommendations for local wine. We had...a great experience. Thank you JW Marriott with special shout to Godwin.

Visited a month ago and they changed my booking from High Seas afternoon tea for six so we had to wait while tried to cobble together Ethel order having failed to convince use to have what they wanted. Made the mistake of booking again for...our anniversary, took them a week to phone and say they have discontinued offering High Seas despite taking the booking and offering on their booking site.

Godwin was amazing! He recommended some amazing drinks and his consistency gave off amazing service. Thank you so much Godwin for this experience!

First of all, I believe that this restaurant is outstanding. The exterior is lovely and the food is truly delicious (the children's bolognese is fantastic). However, we were particularly impressed by a waiter named Godwin. Upon meeting him, he greeted my family with such a nice energy. Throughout the meal, he provided excellent service and engaged us in interesting conversation. I highly recommend both this restaurant and Godwin!
