Mervyn Roys Cafe - Gold Coast

We stumbled upon this fantastic spot right across from the highway entrance to G.C. Airport. The breakfast burrito was wonderful, and the cup (not a mug!) of flat white with an extra shot was the best coffee I've had in years. Thank you for this amazing little hideaway; we'll definitely be back soon. I'm happy to drive all the way from Surfers Paradise just to enjoy breakfast at your place!

This place is truly incredible! It's a unique café with a fascinating blend of eclectic and retro styles. The staff are fantastic, creating a warm sense of community that feels more like a tight-knit neighborhood than just a café. They remember their customers and take the time to acknowledge everyone individually. The service here is like nothing I've experienced before, especially compared to the impersonal vibe you often find in Melbourne. A special shout-out to the guy with the red beard—he has a way of making you feel as if you've known him your entire life!

Cannot rave enough about this place. Best staff, FANTASTIC coffee and the food is great. Personally, I go for the toasted sandwiches. Sound simple but delicious. Try the salami, roast pumpkin and spinach. A great place for locals to meet. Family run establishment where you just feel that you belong. Keep up the great work. Congratulations on winning the #1 coffee shop on the GC.

Best coffee on the Coast! The coffee is always hot and well flavoured. The only suggestion I have is their cakes are so delicious they need to put their logo on the bag so other people know where to get it. The ONLY downside is I have to drive all the way up to get one! But well worth the drive. A second shop is needed! Very good value Sueanne
