Their rice dishes are not bad either.<br/ The smoothies are not that great, so just stick to the pho.<br/ <br/ The place is quite clean for an asian eatery. I gave an extra half star for cleanliness of the toilet ;
Lovely place that I've been coming to every time that I visit the Goldie since the min 1990s when it was first the ambitious Saigon Palace. Changed hands at least 3 times that I can tell, but the food concept remains the same, old school Vietnamese done well with a lot of variety (much more than most). Prices are very remain reasonable and most likely the best Vietnamese that you'll find on the coast. Be glad that such variety can still be found when most Vietnamese now specialize in Pho, would give it 4.5 if they still had bun rieu and if the staff were a little more attentive.
Amazing authentic food just as good as Melbourne Vietnamese I love coming here. Pho and rice paper rolls roll are my favourite, it would be great if you were on UberEATS or something
We went about 20 minutes before closing down with pram, and they facilitated our visit with open arms. <br/ location was great, plenty of parking <br/ environment was also great. Which is a suprise for a traditional pho resturant that just comes with the expectation that hygene will be sacrifised for taste. Happy to report this was not the case. <br/ plenty of space for pram and us. <br/ staff was super helpful and friendly, probably some of the best customer service experiences. This is also not a usual trait for a pho specialised restaurant. <br/ <br/ Rare beef with beef balls <br/ was very sceptic of the thicker noodles. But they pulled it off. It was delicious and fast. And we wemt 20 min@utes before closure time. <br/ <br/ rare beef beef pho ordered by wife was also delicious. <br/ <br/ Milk tea was also delicious. And by far one of the bests we tried. COKE. <br/ <br/ All that for about 27. <br/ <br/ Defs recommend!
This is our favorite Vietnamese restaurant on the Gold Coast. We have tried all of them at some point, and we believe this is the best one. As someone originally from Sydney and of Vietnamese descent, I feel confident in saying that the food here is top-notch. The only thing I would suggest is adding more noodles to the noodle soups, but that is just a minor criticism. My family and I always enjoy dining here, and the quality is consistently excellent, which is why we are regular customers.
