Pitstop Cafe and Smokehouse

Brekkie was so damn good we polished it before I could take a pics! As a North American, who knows how to smoke stuff properly, I know good BBQ and the owners John and Margaret have got it down pat! Happy to find a BBQ Joint here so I can get my fix! Imported wood, proper smoking chambers, turning out smokey brisket, lamb, pork, and even baked beans! Lunch is absolutely amazing and good value, but most of it is gone by 1pm. If you like good smoked food, come check them out! If you want some US Mesquite or Hickory or Oak for smoking things at home, come check them out! They are located on Lawrence Drive nestled amongst the motorcycle shops in Nerang Qld. Well worth the visit!

We have eaten here many times but this morning's experience was not good. Only some of the steak in the steak sandwich was cooked, the rest was red raw. The coffee was ordered as extra hot but we got extra cold instead. They also proudly display "American wood" - really!!! what's wrong with our good old Australian timber?

We stopped in to the Pitsop Café on a recommendation from some friends, and what a great choice it was. The food is fresh and tastes amazing-. We tried a couple of dishes and they were all delicious. It is really reasonably priced and the owners and staff are great.The owners took time to tell us about what was on the menu & showed us the smoking processCan’t wait to go back next time we are QLD.

Great for a quick bite to eat. Smoked pulled pork roll and hotdogs are delicious. Great value and service too.

Amazing!! Please, can I have some more? Prices are incredible given the quality of the foodI had the brisket and will be back for the pork.
