Waterfront - Gold Coast

Really disappointing. The restaurant a couple of years ago was very average. The club seemed to change chefs, changed the menu, and dining was excellent. It appears there may be a new chef as the menu has changed, but more importantly, quality of the meal was less than average. Being coeliac, the options were minimal. I decided to try the Thursday special barramundi (grilled or crumbed). I received a meal comprising a piece of (dry) grilled/overcooked fish, with a side of dry, overcooked “roast” potatoes, with a side salad. The small salad was the best option on the plate. I could have selected the $49 steak, but felt the price was quite excessive for a club. It’s obvious that they’re trying to cash in on the view, but the club may like to be reminded that there are plenty of restaurants on the coast with a view. Highly doubt we’ll be renewing our member.

We had a great lunch with special food. The place was particularly amazing outside on the terrace. The staff was professional and friendly. My wife and I love spending time there.

It wasn't long ago and was amazed how great it looked like the vibe. Eating was really good and drinks choice for everyone. Seriously about social membership in the club in general. The staff were all great, with Katie always recognition customers, even if they're served them.

We went to dinner and drinks on a Sunday night to celebrate a birthday. We were a small group with children. We ordered the Grilled Barramundi, Parma, Oysters and Bug Meat Linguine- all came to a reasonable time and tasted AMAZING!! The place was bright, had a good atmosphere and had a great view of the marina. We sat on the deck and could see the water and the Yatchs. There was also a playground for the children they entertain. We arrived at 5:30 p.m. and it was fantastic to eat and enjoy any other company while watching the day slowly come to an end.... definitely recommend, especially if you are just vacationing at the Gold Coast!

What a great restaurant in Southport Yatch Club. Food is excellent and service faultless. A shout out to Kelly who looked after us today. Well done
