We visited this restaurant for a Sunday afternoon beer and had a great time; we will definitely return. The place was clean, and they were preparing for a deep cleaning the next day. It has a charming character that should be preserved. They adhere to Covid protocols, although some of the more particular patrons might not be satisfied. The staff is friendly and down-to-earth, and the owner has a sailor vibe, even though he wasn't present during our visit. There were plenty of regulars, and from other reviews I've seen, it appears that newcomers may need to make an effort to get noticed. The closing time seems to vary, at least in January, when restaurants have just reopened. The location on the Peak to Peak highway is fantastic and definitely not dull.
The atmosphere is really great, and there's a stunning view from the deck. The food was delicious and very affordable. Michelle, the bartender, mixed a Jack and Coke with care, and you can't help but notice Dana, the waitress, and her lovely smile.
