Nick's memories of times spent with Elvis and his family are so interesting and the autographed memorabilia is phenomenal. Even if your only a modest Elvis fan, like myself, the history and atmosphere along with amazing food is well worth a visit.
Great little diner spot. Stopped in and had the veggie omelet and it was delicious. The whole inside is loaded with Elvis memorabilia which is pretty cool. The service was really great and they make you feel like family when you come in, I would recommend this place to everyone!
This Colorado landmark is a must-visit for anyone who considers themselves an Elvis fan or simply loves a good sandwich. Nick, the owner and creator of the Fool's Gold sandwich (a PB&J with bacon on sourdough), is there every day, crafting mouthwatering meals that satisfy both my hunger and my spirit. The rich history of this establishment and the unique essence of its owner are felt as soon as you step inside. Places like this are becoming rare in Colorado. With their final day of service on March 9, 2022, I want to take a moment to bid farewell to Nick: Enjoy every second of your retirement; you’ve truly earned it. Thank you for the unforgettable memories!
My dad finally checked off a big item from his bucket list with a visit to Nick's Cafe today. We were warmly welcomed by Nick and his wife Kathleen. We had to try the Fool's Gold Sandwich made famous by Elvis Presley. Along with that, we also shared some Burrito Supremes with chili. We were not disappointed at all! It was wonderful to share stories that my dad has cherished for so long. Thank you for being so kind and accommodating with all our photo requests. We truly appreciated your warm hospitality and the chance to enjoy your delicious food and passion. You made our day, especially for my 84-year-old father. Wishing you many blessings!
If you're a fan of Elvis, this is the perfect spot for you! The place is filled with memorabilia, news articles, lunch boxes, and much more! The photos on the walls are truly impressive. The restaurant offers excellent homemade food with a cozy, small-town vibe nestled in the mountains. We had the pleasure of meeting Nick and his lovely wife, who were incredibly kind to us. We enjoyed hot coffee, home-cooked potatoes with our breakfast, and some great conversation. Thank you for making our anniversary so special!
