The Buffalo Bill Museum And Grave

What a wonderful walk back into history. The museum is a wonderful 1st class facility full of so much information. Then when you step outside, The view is stunningly Beautiful. It takes your breath away. And I don't mean High elevation ? wise. Between the observation deck looking down on Denver and being surrounded by the Mountains ?️. And if that's not enough, go to the restaurant and grab a Bison burger or a bowl of Bison chili, and finish that with some Ice cream. After you have enjoyed all of that, I then suggest walking into the awesome gift shop. Finally when you walk out of the gift shop take the small hike up to Buffalo Bills Gravesite.What a wonderful time we had.

Really enjoyed our visit! You'll want to spend at least an hour looking through the exhibits a lot of historical Buffalo Bill items. But would start with the short video presentation that nicely outlines his somewhat complex life. A very nice gift shop, packed with a lot of souvenir items, but at reasonable prices.Price for entry: $4.00

I have seen the signs for this many times and finally stop in to check it out. It is well worth the $5.00 to get in. We found a lot of interesting information we had not heard of before about Buffalo Bill The museum is clean and well lit and in my opinion just the right size. Not filled up with a lot of clutter but not just a bunch of pictures. It had the perfect mix of artifacts with photos and brief descriptions of what they were.

Okay, I was a bit dubious about this place. I thought it would be really touristy and campy, but it was really neat. I loved the history museum and all the artifacts. You really get a sense of the man behind the legend. The grave and the story of his burial are neat. The drive to the top of the hill affords you a terrific view on a clear day.

Great spot at the top of Lookout mountain! There is a museum and restaurant too.Hiking trails start at the far end of the parking lot.Views are amazing!You can drive up and park or you can hike from a lower lot.Lots of good hiking trails are around the area as well. There is a ton of great views on the hikes and you can even find a mansion and a nature center!It's a short walk up to the Grave site. Lots of good history to learn from the displays around the grounds. Highly recommended!
