Hollister Brewing Company - Goleta

This restaurant is the most welcoming spot in the entire shopping center, in my humble opinion. I arrived there alone just as they opened for lunch and was seated as the second party. Although I wasn't in a rush, it took a surprisingly long time for the server to take my order. The food and beer arrived quickly after that, but there was another long wait for the server to come back. I had planned on getting a second beer to go with the second half of my above-average Cobb Salad, but I ran out of time and had to leave. To be fair, the restaurant got very busy right after I sat down, but they didn't seem understaffed. The beer was tasty and the menu looked good. I will definitely return if I find myself in Goleta again.

I visited this restaurant on a weekday and it was quite busy. It seemed like they were understaffed, but everyone was working hard. I was seated quickly and my husband really enjoyed the three beers he ordered. Our meals arrived promptly and we were pleased with the delicious spicy black bean burger and steak tacos. We sat outside and admired the dishes that other diners were enjoying - everything looked fresh and appetizing. I would definitely return to this restaurant!

Beer is really good! The chili cheese nachos are pretty awesome too!

We were having a great time until my second beer arrived and the waiter accidentally placed it on a crack in the tables, causing it to spill all over my food and lap. The waiter seemed to think it was my fault and only offered to bring “half a sandwich.” The beer he had brought was also incorrect, and it was only once he saw my pants covered in beer and we asked for a new sandwich that he agreed. Would have loved to like this place but having to pay full price for the beer and sandwich negated all that. Everyone else in the party enjoyed the food.
