Y Mar Y Luna - Golfito

Amazing Location with stunning view of the Gulf, make sure you arrive before sunset to fully enjoy the place. Great service and really good dinner, the price is right for the quality and location of the place.

I have been coming here a very long time its my goto spot in Golfito. Not only is it the best option for the money, but also has some of the best food. The managers are excellent and very accomodating, a variety of room options are available (including waterfront, but also economy) they offer fishing and diving and the view is amazing. Don't miss the opportunity to try the carpaccio with an Imperial )or Pilsen) while sitting on the water watching the sunset, sailboats and scarlet macaws.

This restaurant is a throw back to the yacht club days! The restaurant is located right on the gulf and almost every table in the front area has a view. The decor includes lots of fishing items hanging from the ceiling interesting to look at while you are waiting for service. They have a good variety of seafood dishes and some chicken dishes. My companions enjoyed their seafood dishes tremendously. I had a salad which I greatly advise avoiding. The table next to us had the pescado entero oh my gosh it was truly incredible. Almost a work of art!! The service was slow (pretty typical for CR) so don't stop if you are in a rush. The tables were well spaced apart so there was no fear in coming in contact with the people next to us. I would definitely recommend but stick to the seafood plates.

The restaurant was super good, on the beach, nice to sit and enjoy eating. service excellent fast and the ceviche was excellent made. I wasn't in the hotel. it is worth visiting anytime.
