Good Mexican food. I like to order the soft tacos with rice and beans!!! his really good!!! I also want the candies in front when I go!!!:
Consistent. This place has become a regular stop for me as we eat here at least twice a week and sometimes more. Good, consistent Mexican food. The atmosphere is something we needed in Gonzales. Beautiful clean restaurant where you can sit a quick bite or sit and relax while watching a ball game. Also a nice place to have a business dinner.
Good! I recently ordered beef Tacos el Carbon and it was wonderful! Everything was tasteful and delicious! I would encourage everyone to like this beautiful alien Mexican place!
Best Tex-Mex in the parish. I've been eating high-quality Tex-Mex for 60+ years in every city (and many small towns in Texas, and when I moved to Baton Rouge a dozen years ago I didn't expect to be able to keep it up. However, I found Casa Maria on Bluebonnet and was very, very happy with it. (Read my review. We moved to Ascension after Katrina and I made a point of driving up there every week or two for my fix. Now they've opened this new place on Airline and I couldn't be happier. Identical menu, an excellent cook obviously trained at the home location, and friendly and efficient service. It didn't take them long to start being crowded in the evening, but they have a big room and I've never had to wait more than a couple of minutes.
