The Notch Grille - Gorham

I had a wonderful dinner here with my family. The food was outstanding, the service was superb, and the atmosphere was lovely. We sat outside, and the view of Mount Washington was amazing. We ordered salad, lobster bisque, tomato bisque, short ribs, and spinach and artichoke dip. The prices were reasonable, and we had a great time. We really appreciated their kid-friendliness. We were here once before, and this time was as nice as last time.

Staff is great, food is good , clean relaxing atmosphere. But how majestic is the view beautiful!!

Food was good. Service is questionable…We were sat right away. After placing our drink orders, someone who appeared to be a manager came out to our table to clarify the orders. Once clarified, we received a belittling lecture on bar terminology. It was incredibly inappropriate. Our food came out at the same time as our second beverage order. My drink was spilled all over the table and two of the guests with me. Our food sat next to us for several minutes while the mess was cleaned up. I expected at least 1 drink to be taken off the bill. We received the check and nothing was comped. I ordered the drink and had no problem paying for it. But no attempt was made to smooth over the spilled drink. Food was very good.

Service was great and the food was even better. I could've eaten the broccoli cheddar soup all day. The burger I had was one of the best burgers I've had to date. Its somewhere you definitely have to try if your in the area.
