The Mermaid Beach Cafe - Gorran Haven

This ice cream shop offers beautiful ice cream with a wide variety of flavors to choose from. They have different sizes of waffle cones, including plain, chocolate-covered, and traditional options. Although we only had ice cream, the presentation of the dishes looked top-notch. The staff is friendly and helpful, and there are plenty of outdoor seating options. While the café is not fully wheelchair accessible, there is limited space outside for a few wheelchairs if positioned carefully. The access to the beach is somewhat rough at times, but the location provides a safe harbor and has parking available right on the road. The café is conveniently situated directly on the beach, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

This charming little coffee shop by the beach is an absolute gem! They serve amazing espresso made from freshly roasted beans sourced from Cornwall. I also highly recommend trying their homemade cakes—they're simply delicious!

The ice is fantastic, the sandwiches are freshly made, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is simply beautiful.

Fantastic lunch, afternoon tea and ice. The veggie pasties are amazing, how is the fact that they get a (china) cup right tee and take it to the beach. we all love this place. the children also appreciate the lunch packages and the amazing baguettes.
