A good surprise, a break during a trip a fried **** house served in a friendly family atmosphere, you don’t like it or not. The kitchen is good for my experience and quality unlike others in similar rates. To be recommended!

What a pleasant surprise that this stop during our return trip. Atypical, welcoming and what dynamism of the boss, in the oven and in the mill, who swears with the boss who lets him live. Simple dish with good franquette, rich and delicious. We ate very well and especially well laughed the boss putting the mood. Quality ratio unbeatable price. Quick service. This is one of my favourite restaurants in the world. It is on the Main Street, just up from the Sports Bar (aptly named “Sports Bar” . Ran by a Husband and Wife, with the daughter often helping out, Le Bocage is entertaining in a Basil Fawlty kind of way, whether you are there for lunch or dinner. If the Husband insults you, you know he has accepted you. It will take a few visits though. The lunch menu includes salads (try the Peasant Salad and both beef or kebab burgers and chips. Also available is a set 3 course lunch. This being France, you can ask for the burger to be Bleu and have it cooked for just 30 seconds on each side, something not allowed in the UK. The chips are prepared fresh, the husband peeling and slicing potatoes all morning for you. For dinner, while everything is good, I highly recommend the “quatre fromage” they actually put real cheese on the pizza. Pizza with Camembert? Yes please!
