Kastello - Gotenburg

Their semla croissant is perfect ! Otherwise good coffe, breakfast options (chia, porridge bowl, toast but a more expensive). The service personal seems a little overwhelmed and slow in service.

This restaurant in Gothenburg is one of the top coffee spots. As of one month ago, they now accept Swish and card payments, not just cash. Their avocado sandwich is amazing too! There's no excuse not to visit as frequently as possible now.

The coffee was good, and I also enjoyed the avocado sandwich and mack sandwich. Both were quite tasty.

The coffee at this place is fantastic, but it's best to steer clear of the food. The smoothie bowl is mostly just juice with some fruit pieces, essentially a bowl of liquid. If you're looking for a good coffee fix, this place is great, but you're better off finding food elsewhere to satisfy your hunger.

This was my first time at Kastello. It is a charming combination of a shop and a coffee house. It is small and cozy with limited seating. The coffee is great and they have a small selection of treats to accompany your drink (don't expect large pastries or cakes here!). The prices are comparable to other espresso bars in Gothenburg, around 30 SEK for any espresso drink. The girl working behind the counter is very friendly. During my visit, the music was soft, laid back, and retro, which I really enjoyed. They serve breakfast all day, as long as they have bread left. Kastello is perfect for a quick stop, but be aware that they only accept cash.
