Sushi Naruto - Gothenburg

(Obs: Lengthy review in English A sushi place in Gothenburg with a different vibe. It feels like a small and cozy neighbourhood shop in Japan, not much going on with the interiors but nice owner and food. My experience on my last visit (actually similar for my last 4 or so visits : disclaimer: experience may vary Upon walking in, you 'll be greeted by the very nice and cheerful Japanese owner. If you look unsure on what to order, she 'll suggest something. Sushi? Poké bowl? Ramen? We have miso broth, pork broth, seafood? This time I ordered chirashizushi a type of sushi that looks like a bowl of sushi rice topped with various ingredients. While waiting, you 'll be given a bowl of hearty miso soup. Unlike most sushi places in Gothenburg, they don 't have an open container for you to take your own. I always feel like I want extras as it 's very good, but never worked up the courage to ask for more. Perhaps in the future. It might take awhile to get your food, especially if you come at a busy time, so while waiting, I sometimes like to look out to the busy street of Linnégatan and just watch the passerby. Haai chirashizushi, the owner interrupted my thoughts while putting a tray with a big white bowl in front of me. The bowl looked appetizing. I loved the salmon it 's fresh and fatty that it melted in my mouth. To be honest I kind of hoped there would have been more different fish slices, but can 't complain much since it was already very delicious and reasonably priced. Honorary mention to the crab mayo and kimuchi/kimchi which provides very nice texture and flavour. The rest I 'll let the picture speak for itself :

I had Ramen and poke bowl. The quantity and taste was too good.Host is super nice. I have gone here twice and would definitely visit again.

Simple, fresh, and very good taste. Here you get a higher level sushi with same price as every sushi place in Gbg. Even the soup is very good. Not as salty and watery as many places offer. I just don’t suggest this place if you are in a hurry. You can’t and shouldn’t stress the lady to make the food. Take your time

We really loved the vibe of this little place. Their sushi tasted really amazing. Probably the best I have tried in Gothenburg. Small and cozy place with nice location. The staff is very friendly and helpful, yet talking to fast and not easy to follow. A perfect spot to take a break from walking in the city. Everything is clean, yet this is not boast place but their suahi is tasty and quite big. Nice view.

Cute restaurant with amazing food and friendly service. I loved every single drop of my Ramen, perfectly boiled noddles and every ingredient is tasting to its fullest
