Love the elections. my favorite place to get ice cream, recommend

I grew up in Gouverneur and loved coming to Custard Cottage for root beer floats--and the chocolate vanilla twist cones. When I come back to childhood favorites, they don't live up to my memory of them. But Custard Cottage's root beer floats are every bit as good as I remember. (I made two trips there today. I hope it never changes.

I've had Custer Cottage ice cream for many years. Ice cream shop has many options to satisfy your dessert needs.

We always love stopping for ice cream on our way between Syracuse and Malone! So good! Love the special twist flavors. And there's a bathroom behind the building and room for the kids to run around and stretch their legs.

Large Hot fudge Sundae was delicious and big. Staff was ok. Definitely would go back next time in town.
