The Fermentist - Governors Bay

Was highly impressed with the beer, menu, venue and service. The menu places great emphasis on quality, locally sourced food and the passion for produce was evident in the dishes. You needn't be cautious of the all-vegetarian menu as each dish was full of flavour, delicious, and the servings were very generous. The venue is modern and airy and great for casual dining. It was far too cold to dine outside but can tell the outdoor area will be popular in Summer. A great local find, would definitely recommend checking out!

Absolutely beautiful vegetarian food. The fried tofu is a must, and the matcha cake was so delicious. Highly recommend just buying a few different dishes and sharing them around! Lovely, low-lit restaurant, food on the higher end but so worth it.

What a suprise! I've been following The Fermentist for some time but had somehow never made it in. How glad am I that today was the day. First off- the outdoors area is on point. I love the planter boxes/benches combo and the garden is stunning. Such a great use to of space and made me feel like we were in a secluded oasis. The main restaurant area looked fun too- and I'd like to see what it was like when it's busy. Honestly, it was a hard day for me with big hospital trips for my son so it's saying a lot that we had such an enjoyable experience. The food was to die for.. we had the tasting platter which I would reccomend . Stuck to coffee but it was expertly made. Staff were friendly and we enjoyed their attentive but space giving style. Looking forward to returning again soon.

A real treat for the healthy at heart. One of the best vegetarian restaurants we've ever been too. Lovely services, great setting and food that is beautifully created to create a delicious and healthy meal. 6 stars

Had a very nice time here at a business networking meeting. Good coffee and orange juice. Did not realise at the time it was there. They have a restaurant and bar with the brewery visible inside through windows. Owned I am told by Lion Natham it produces craft beer. I hoped it would be an independent. Nonetheless a nice place to have meeting. Car parking is not that good with all close locations time limited.
