We had to ask for it after we ate). The plates were small and made it difficult to cut your food. Average overall considering the price.
The food was GREAT!!! They were short staffed, but it didn't seem to affect the service at all : Will definitely come back here again whenever I'm in the area.

My Brother took me to lunch for my Birthday to Marlene's. I did not know it was there, and between him and our friend Robert bragging on it (they try a different item from the menu a couple of times a month) I was really looking forward to it. I was not disappointed everything they said was true. Homemade breads, desserts, soups, etc....The service was excellent. The place was very clean. I am going back every time I can! Tip: Order your dessert when you order your lunch, or else it'll be gone!
Driving from Lubbock to DFW and stopped here. Some of the BEST breakfast food I’ve ever had, and better than any breakfast food I’ve had in Lubbock. The omelette was huge and packed with good stuff, and the biscuit was the best I’ve ever had. Great place!
