Gasthof Biergarten Hoehenrain - Grainau

We were only about 15 people for the subsequent wedding dinner at Gasthof Hochrain. For about 4 weeks, new tenants have been at the inn and these have surprised us very positively. A super friendly, open-minded, hospitable young couple. Each time they give their best to awaken the inn and the hotel to new life. All they do with a lot of heart, as you can already see in the cozy and super beautifully decorated guestroom . We felt very good and welcome. The menu is not too big and still offers the right for everyone. From vegetarian to meat lover is for all what we wanted to order the chickpeas soup from the card, unfortunately it was only available 1 more times, but it was offered directly a cheese soup as an alternative, which was also very delicious. The portions are lush and every single dish was mega mega mega tasty. Conclusion : no question of the inn/hotel itself has come very into the years, that you can't just change within a night, but if you stay there it will certainly shine in the future piece by piece in new glamour. The right guardian has the house now anyway and we can only recommend it to everyone, go, try it out .. the food is great thanks for this great day

We went by chance to the Gasthof Hochrain and fell in love. The ambience is completely cozy and has been modernized by the new tenants since autumn 2021 with few riffs without covering the old flair.
