Fab food the tagine and lamb couscous were delicious and the owner was entertaining and attentive. Unlike some of the Moroccan restaurants you can get a beer or wine here. Cheapest meal we had. It’s quite a hike but definitely worth it.
In the Albaicin, in the direction of the mirador San nicholas, is a small hole in the wall restaurant serving excellent Moroccan food. We walked from the plaza Isabella up a series of steep, winding and narrow residential streets to Chaouen. The charming owner served us outstanding baba ganoush, humus, vegetable cous cous, and lamb tagine with plums and almonds. Full bar but don’t miss the outstanding mint tea.
The food came very fast and was sooooo good. We had soups and salad and tagine. The waiter is super nice and friendly. Definitely visit if you are here! By the way, sorry for the food picture because the food is already half eaten but we couldnt help ourselves
