The pork shoulder, aka dried ham, was okay. Dessert sampler was good. Service was disjointed and confusing. Helped ourselves to our wine bottle a couple of times. Would be happy to return and try other dishes. Recommend making a reservation as many were turned away.
Are you into wine? Then this is your place in Granada. One of the waiters is also the sommelier. And he is one of the youngest ones in Spain but don’t let age fool you, he’s very knowledgeable. If you are lucky enough to get one of the tables he looks after, he will be more than happy to recommend some great wines based on your taste. They serve a massive variety of wines by the glass so you can treat the occasion as a bit of a wine tasting experience. Food is very tasty, most tapas are on the cold side but still very good quality, they specialise in embutidos (cured meats). You won’t leave feeling hungry. Loved it and went there for 2 dinners out of our 3 nights in Granda.
The wine list is much longer than most tapas bars but the food menu is very limited and a bit basic, and the wait staff has grumpy attitude even on a slow night. A tapa may or may not accompany each drink, who knows why.
It is not a restaurant or something that looks like it; i.e. a tasca or tavern with tapas so cold and of embutido and/or cheeses basically, but of wines .casi of all and of all kinds. He gave us the smell and the px and enjoyed a px of 1990, a noe, a leonor and alfonso. It was worth it and more chatting with the owner who knows a lot about what he sells.
Top quality product, in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. excellent ham, extraordinary sandy sausage and a great assortment of cheeses. very professional treatment and agile and attentive service.
