Puerta Delcarmenvinoteca - Granada

Our first night in Granada. Found this place by mistake. We did not want tapas. This restaurant was amazing. Great choice, excellent service and lovely wine. The restaurant was very busy and they fitted us in. No rush and great atmosphere. One of us had fish and one is a veggi. The other three had steak. All was great. My veggi was very tasty mango goats chess and more cheese. We had a great night. Thank you .

What a find It was just what I wanted from a light supper and good wine The staff were friendly and informative. We had the most delicious red wine Ribiero del Duero We ordered 2 tapas and got 3 free The plate of hand cut ham and the air dried tuna.

We stayed in Grenada for three nights and ate here on all three as we enjoyed the first night so much. We would particularly recommend the Hake cutlets with clams guls we never did find out what guls were) and the hamburger with foie both were delicious. The raspberry and almond cake was exceptional.

Waiter very pleasant and we managed with my Spanish: his English poor. Fills up after 21.00 Try the lightly fried calf sweetbreads for two : delicious. Not cheap €145 for two, 3 courses, bottle of wine) but worth it.
