Robeks Fresh Juices Smoothies

This is truly the best Robeks in all of Los Angeles! The two brothers working here deliver outstanding customer service—it's the finest I've encountered in any food retail establishment. The owner and the rest of the staff are incredibly friendly too. If you ever get the chance to stop by, I highly recommend it. They also prepare the most delicious drinks compared to other Robeks locations; even if you order the same drink, theirs always tastes better.

I have to give this restaurant a one-star rating just to submit my review. I was incredibly disappointed with my experience. Today, I found metal flakes in one of their smoothies, and when I tried to show the staff, one employee completely brushed it off. Instead of addressing the issue properly, he had another worker just wash it down the sink. I couldn't believe how indifferent they were. He offered me a replacement drink without even a hint of an apology, and when I declined, he had nothing else to say. I wanted to take pictures as evidence, but by the time I thought to do that, it had already been thrown away. Please, do not bring your children here. I'm only twenty years old and not looking for attention; I just want to emphasize that this place is careless and could easily serve drinks containing dangerous materials.

This Robeks has the potential for a perfect 5 out of 5 rating, but I encountered one small issue. Overall, the staff is very friendly, particularly one of the women who works there. However, there is one employee who has consistently been rude to me, no matter how I approach her. Aside from that, the experience has been fantastic, but her lack of customer service is a drawback. If you happen to read this, please understand that shouting "thank you" at customers who are on the phone is not an effective way to grab their attention.

Are you serious? We just spent $20 on basic smoothies, and I’m not allowed to take home the 2 oz of leftovers? I get it if they don't want to give it, but there’s really no need for such rudeness. Thanks a lot, Robek's!
