Miyako - Granbury

Our family of four tried this place tonight for the first time. We ordered the smoked salmon sashimi, which was very good and it came with 6 pieces which was nice. My husband and I ordered sushi. I personally had the ichiban and caterpillar roll and both were very good. The kids wanted fried rice, but they only had small side portions of it and we had to order double portions for both our 6 and 10 year old and they both said they could have ate more. I was surprised they didn't have a bigger portion we could have chose as it is a usual dish. Overall really enjoyed it and had great service and it will be our go to for sushi when we are here.

Might be the only sushi restaurant in town but totally worth it. Food was amazing! The service was great too!

First place I have ever been in that literally gave me my check and kicked me out! We had a larger party and had a 530 reservation. The service was very slow, the sushi came out well after the rest of our meal. Almost done with our meal and they brought the check and she literally told my wife they had another large party waiting and really needed us to leave so they could clean the table. Really came across as extremely rude!

I was really looking forward to trying the new Japanese restaurant in Granbury, but my experience left me disappointed. While the dinner itself was decent, the kitchen was incredibly slow, causing a long wait for our food. To make matters worse, not everyone at our table received their meals at the same time—half of us got our food while the other half waited. When it was time to pay, the staff took our checks and told us we needed to leave so they could accommodate another group with a reservation. I've never been asked to leave like that after getting my check. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

Enjoyable meal. The lunch chicken teriyaki bento box was big enough to share. We also enjoyed the eggrolls.
