Brasserie Daniel Lapointe - Granby

Good food... great atmosphere! But when it was time for the dishes to be served to us.... the waitresses walked around calling out the dishes without knowing who was going to... waitress for 15 years... we went out with the dishes and the number of customer...we couldn 't talk to each other anymore...it was calling loudly as if we were in the stands for a hockey or baseball game...it was a bit of a low game for service...the rest it was good.

Very good meal. For shrimp this is the place! And what’s more, excellent service from Xavier. He is efficient, attentive and his humor adds a much appreciated “plus”! Small suggestion in the kitchen: the vegetable stir-fry deserves an addition of flavor to the very bland white rice. A little light sauce or some seasonings would be welcome!

At the beginning on arrival the approach was average, but as we had not booked it was normal not to have priority. Afterwards, in order to still offer us good service, we were offered a place where we had to eat very quickly, but next door there was a party and it was too much of a party, we didn't get along, so we wanted to leave, but a lady offered us a very good seat, and with a fantastic waitress in every way, throughout the meal she kept us informed of any possible delays, she was great, we loved her service. Moral of the story always given a second chance without this pride at first contact. Thank you Daniel Lapointe, you are always my number 1.

I rarely eat beef, on occasion I go to Brasserie Daniel Lapointe where I am usually satisfied.Thursday October 19, I was very disappointed with the flank steak. I ordered medium well cooked,what I was served was almost burnt flank steak.The bread was not fresh,the salad from the 2nd meal was missing.The waitress didn't come and ask us how our meal was?Too bad, because a trip to a restaurant should be pleasant all round and delicious.

We liked it despite the problems receiving the dishes (which were not good)And the rice wasn't cooked well. I took the tomahawk which was excellent.
