The pizza and smoked meat seemed to be popular choices among regulars, but the spaghetti, lasagna, souvlaki, and Caesar salad we ordered were disappointing. The sauces were too sweet, the tzaziki was past its expiration date, and the Caesar salad was overly dripped in mayonnaise. My wife's beef, onion, and pepper platter with rice was drowned in A1 sauce. Even though we had two draft beers, our bill came out to $100 for a family of five. Stick to the pizza and smoked meat at this place.
There is nothing particularly bad about this restaurant, but it seems to have remained the same for the past 40 years. The pasta is uninteresting, the pizzas are average, and the atmosphere is dark and outdated, with mostly elderly patrons seeking large but bland meals. If you consider yourself a food enthusiast, it's best to steer clear of this place.
I'm surprised to see reviews, but I feel I should contribute. The food was inedible, the service was okay, and the price was $40 for two people, which was hardly worth it. The house specialties were a disappointment, with Kraft singles on a pizza and iceberg lettuce that was spoiled. The pizza had strange flavors and I should've just ordered a burger and onion rings. I recommend skipping this restaurant and grabbing food from a street vendor instead. It's hard to believe that a dinner could go so wrong.
Just love the pizza here. It is a must every time I visit with family in the area. I have never had a bad dish there but especially love their pizza. Quality ingredients and abundance of them make this my favorite.
A good old restaurant. Food is great, pizza, smoke meat and veal liver is incredible. Decor is old but clean place.
