DI Carlo - Granby

Beautiful intimate place, very attentive staff, excellent service. As for the food... impeccable, everything was excellent, from the appetizer to the dessert. The dishes are homemade (even the vinaigrette in my Caesar salad). It's really exceptional, I highly recommend it.

My friend ordered coqiulle St Jacque and allowed another friend to have a taste. they both got food poisoning and were extremely Ill. they put plastic water bottles at everyone’s place. If, for some reason, they had to use plastic they could have at least put it in a glass. We would not recommend this restaurant.

I had the snails as a starter and it was excellent! I also loved the terrace. I did not know that such a beautiful terrace was present in Granby. I was however a little disappointed with the service.

Food was decent, but their service needs a serious improvement. One of the servers (a middle aged waitress) was extremely rude to me and my family simply because she didn't like us speaking English (my wife and child are fully bilingual, but we were speaking English amongst ourselves since I don't speak French). The waitress repeatedly insulted us behind our back by making fun of us in conversation with other customers near our table. She probably assumed my wife and child wouldn't understand French well enough to understand what she was saying. The whole experience became disgusting due to the presence of the ill-natured staff. I strongly recommend anglophone to stay far away from this establishment until they improve their service.
