Gray's Station - Grand Bank

The food here is so good. They have healthy choices as well. The best Buda bowl! We tried a few things over our two weeks of camping at Grand Beach. The chicken fingers were so good, the hotdogs were also good. But the Buda bowl was great!

Our expectations for Beach food where relatively low, however the food was totally acceptable. Good burgers, hot dogs, turkey and ham wrap and very good onion rings. Water side picnic tables to from which to enjoy a totally decent lunch.

So looking forward to grays poutine this maylong..... Awsome food, portion sizes and the best views from the boardwalk...

The food here is amazing and you absolutely get value for your dollar. Burgers are great, fish and chips delicious (although - they should offer a 1/2 size), fries are awesome as are the onion rings. The prices are equivalent to what you would pay at a decent diner, but you DO get what you pay for! (Eg $5 for deep fried pickles nets you a dozen, where at Lankys you get 4 for the same)The only thing that stops the extra star - wait times are a little long (but again, worth waiting for and your food is piping hot), and the unwillingness for substitutions (onion rings for fries - even at a fee). Plus they need some perogies! I miss perogies on the beach!

After spending the day at various beaches on the south basin of Lake Winnipeg, the fish entrails left by the pelicans are vastly preferential to the gag reflex inducing fish and chips served by this establishment. One bite is all I could handle and in the bin it went. The burger, very little better. Go home hungry and save your stomach and wallet.
