After our friend raved to us that this was the best pizza in town we finally decided to stop in and give it a try. We started out walking in wondering if we should wait to be seated or not, we just grabbed a table over by the pool tables. The waitress was very nice, and there was no charge to use our debit card. We tried the hot and barbecue wings. The wings were very well cooked however I thought the flavor could have been better. The pizza however was wonderful! We had a very nice time and would return.
Edit 2016: remodeled and new name GBI Re-Opened! June 2013. Now called the GBI Country Bar and Grill and a country theme to go along with the new name. All the waitstaff wear boots and hats, but the music (before the DJ played) was standard top 40/dance off a digital jukebox. Rumors that they will have live bands eventually. Lots of hi-def TV's for sports viewing but sadly, no Wi-Fi. They had a full bar and a selection of about 10-draft beers. Drink prices on par with other local joints. Happy hour runs to 8pm, so that is nice. Haven't tried the food yet, nor been there when the DJ is playing tunes. The menu includes deluxe pizzas, certified angus burgers including a 1/2 lb meat lover, fish and chips (cod) and several other sandwiches and dishes. Unfortunately, they no longer have Foosball, Golden Tee or Big Game Hunter....no games at all. I'll re-post after I try the food and hear the DJ spin tunes and see how the ambiance develops.
This is supposed to be a country themed bar; there is a dance floor, but seating and tables cover it. The DJ is also the door man, which in all respect to him, he could be a hell of a lot worse as a DJ. Even though I was able to walk in without being carded (I am 29 but look 23) it seems he really isn't a great door man. Pleasantly, the beer was COLD. Haven't tried the food here, though the guys food sitting next to me smelled delicious. This bar is a mixture of your typical stereotype of hicks and a 30 and below crowd after 10pm. This place could draw a better crowd of dancing were offered, as well as a better pitch to the customers in regards to drinks, esp for the women. Men want beer and liquor, nothing fancy (again) esp in a country themed bar. Maybe add a bourbon theme and more dancing (better DJ) younger have better business.
This place is now called draft street. Where the waitress will feed you shots and cut you off if you decide to actually take them. Food came cold. Tables were dirty. Poor service. All around bad visit. Just go to the point instead. It's just around the corner and they won't treat you with disrespect when you tell them why your upset with the service. Zero stars. Will not return.
