I had a burger and pommes, expecting it to run from the mill and tasteless. It was pretty good. My wife had a club sandwich she said it was okay. Overall not bad for eating in the park.
Thanks to Shannon's review, we found a good place for lunch. Rosie our waitress was excellent, with some helpful advice. The soup of the day was very good. Split a veggie quesadilla that came with salsa avocado and corn was top notch.
Angus Burger with Sautéed Mushrooms, Bacon and Half Fries/onion rings. Very tasty and cheap. Recommended mushrooms and onion rings, especially with the Grand Canyon pilgrims.
I didn't expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised by the service and food. Better than the Arizona Room that is also at the Bright Angel. I had tuna salad w capers over a bed of lettuce w tomatoes and cukes. Tahini dressing. Yummy. Good iced tea.
Okay place for lunch. Not fine dining but decent food.
