On Saturday I had my wife pick up a Tomato Mozzarella salad for lunch on our boat, (these salads are the reason I go to/ or have food picked up from your restaurant). When I tasted the salad it was wrong, something nasty was in there, I finally discovered that someone had used Cilantro instead of Basil! Ugh! I was very surprised that anyone would change the salad like this the next day (Sunday) I went in myself to see if the menu had indeed changed, and no—the sign indeed said Basil, so I ordered another Tomato Mozzarella salad and a sandwich, this time being sure to tell the person taking the order, and the person making the salad to use Basil and not Cilantro, they even let me verify that what they were using was the right stuff…. It was. However: When I finally got to the salad on the boat, there was no Mozzarella! -I would have driven back and complained right then, but that was unpractical being out on the boat and all! I really enjoy a properly made Caprice Salad, and although not quite on the mark, the Tomato Mozzarella salad from Panera is usually close enough. But the last two from Panara have made me re-consider if I ever need to go there again. I sent a letter containing all this information to the restaurant and the CEO of Panera three weeks ago, to give them a chance to reply or explain, but they have not replied. – They probably don’t care anymore. Thanks for your attention.
