Rib City Grand Junction

We ordered brisket, smoked turkey, ribs, and pulled pork. The flavor was very good on all the meats. However, the pulled pork was chewy (indicative of rushed cooking), the brisket was delicious, but was cut with the grain, making it hard to eat. I took the portions that I didn’t eat home, cross-cut them and re-heated. Definitely better. Ribs were very good. Turkey was similar to what you would get at the deli. Overall, mediocre. And the sides were pretty good.

Rib City has been around for a long time. Menu still the same after all these years. Not bad food, but not good food.

Had the brisket, no taste at all . My partner had the short ribs and the sausage, the sausage had was so over cooked it was hard. The short ribs were also over cooked ,Two meals with water to drink. 98 dollars , true we did have okra, and shared a piece of pie. But way over priced. Last time going there.

Loved our meal! Romy, our server was wonderful! This is one of the BBQ places we will keep going back to! We loved everything we ordered, Fried Okra, Fried Green Bean, Buffalo Tenderloin, Pick 3, Carrot Cake and Banana Pudding Cheesecake is not to be missed!!!

BBQ’d beef, chicken and ribs with bbq beans and slaw is what we ordered. It was our first time here. This place is par with some of the great barbecue places in Tennessee and Missouri. Attentive service and the place is clean. Great food if you’re in the mood for bbq.
