Sven Ole's - Grand Marais

The pizza was fantastic and the staff was very enthusiastic! We will definitely be returning!

Even during the off-season, there is enough demand for an improved version of this restaurant. The pizza is decent, but it takes a long time to come out and the service is lackluster.

I was craving a specialty pizza but unfortunately I am allergic to tomatoes. The server kindly switched the tomato sauce for white sauce without any issues or additional charge. The pizza was absolutely amazing!

The pizza was good, but in my mind I remember it being better. In their defense, we got our order to go so it wasn't piping hot by the time we ate it. It was really good, though. The prices seemed much higher, but I guess they're the victim of the current economy just like everyone else. Will we go back next time we're in GM? Of course, it's a North Shore tradition!!!
