Came for lunch finally after a long time of 'meaning to go '. Great food (mushroom burger) and great atmosphere and service (other reviews were critical of service but it experience was great). Look forward to next time.
We came to Naniboujou Lodge for lunch one day, and I'll be the first to admit I was most excited to see the interior! We didn't stay at the property, but explored their outdoor area for a bit before doors opened for lunch. They have a nice lawn with beach view and access. The swing onsite was quite rickety and could have used more outdoor seating. But the outside of the building is so pretty! When we walked inside, we were blown away all of our eyes went straight up to the ceiling. It is so bright and vibrant inside! There is a gift shop and the check in desk at the entrance, and the doors lead to a lounge area and the restaurant. It was pretty quiet for lunch, but that worked well for our large group! There is quite a bit of seating, and all have awesome views of the space.I opted for wild rice soup and a unique club sandwich with brie and jam and enjoyed both. The soup could have been a bit hotter and more spiced, but still great. Other folks in our group were so so on their meals not life changing, but still a good lunch!
Food drinks: The food and drinks are fabulous. I would recommend everythingNoteworthy details: It is a beautiful place to dine. I was there a while ago and it was breathtaking. I was really impressed
We did not stay at the lodge. We were among the few outside diners. Each night a specific dish of the day is served. The food is good but the dining room is the dazzling star of the show.Nearby activities: Wonderful hikes nearby. Incredible views of Superior. The best beach anywhere for collecting rocks.
