Crazee Crab - Grand Prairie

The host at the entrance was very pleasant and friendly. However, there was a concerning issue with our bill. It totaled $34.64, and after giving the host $40.00, we only received $5.00 back instead of $5.36. When I brought this to her attention, she mentioned that the manager instructed them not to return the correct change to customers. I explained that I had 64 cents in change, so she could have easily returned $6.00. She claimed she didn't have enough change to give back. While it may not seem like a lot, it's the principle of the matter; this is poor practice. A manager should not instruct staff to withhold customers' change—customers should have the right to decide. I ordered a fried shrimp platter, and I wish the shrimp had been a bit larger. Additionally, the two hush puppies were quite small; they could have included more. My order was for takeout as well.

We always have a fantastic time at this restaurant. Shawn, the bartender, makes the best Hennessy lemon drop cocktails. The food is delicious as well. We enjoyed the alligator bites and both the grilled and fried pork chops, served with red beans and rice. Thank you!

This restaurant has fantastic food! I really enjoyed the crab boils; they are a bit pricey, but definitely worth it. The food was incredible, and I recommend pairing the boils with some biscuits or garlic bread. The drinks are excellent, and the bartender is amazing—she's such a sweetheart, though I don't know her name. I will definitely be coming back!

If there were more stars I would give them!! This place is always clean, the bar area too. The food is Crazee good, the appetizers, the entrees, and our family favorite the boils are always fresh. A must try are the hush puppies

I was hoping to love the seafood but ended up highly disappointed. The seafood boil #6 was super bland (and I had their house Cajun seasoning, the fried shrimp and catfish that my husband had tasted off… he said the batter tasted funny… and the kids burgers was extremely dry. My three year old son who loves a good burger could not even eat it. The only good part of our Sunday dinner at Crazee Crab was the friendly waitress that served us. I ended up taking my seafood home, washing off all their seasoning (which just tasted like garlic) and re-seasoning it to enjoy my $60 that I spent on the boil. I will not be returning unfortunately.
