El Pollo Loco - Grand Prairie

I accidentally ended up in the drive-thru of this place while trying to get to the milk place next door for a banana treat. When I realized I'd have to wait a bit, my hunger kicked in. Tony hadn’t told me to share with you. The nachos are $10, which is way too pricey, and I really shouldn't have to mix my own toppings for nachos—that's part of the experience! If I’m going to spend $10 on nachos, I want them to come fully prepared. On a positive note, I do appreciate the little Tupperware they provide for takeout.

The food is excellent! Her bowl is even better now than at Taco Cabana. I hope it stays this good, but you never know!

I used to enjoy Pollo Loco, but my recent experience was disappointing. The tortilla was overcooked and almost resembled a tortilla chip. While the chicken wasn't heavily overcooked, it still had an unpleasant amount of unwanted crunch. I also didn't request pico or tomatoes, yet there were tomatoes included anyway. After a few bites, I ended up throwing it away. Overall, it felt like a waste of money.

I ordered the certified KETO? Burrito. I WISH I?d unrolled it to see what was actually in him before, but was clear from the tortilla texture, it would be work to prevent it from falling apart, so I even eat it. But 1/3 way through. I didn't want to see that there were almost ZERO chickens, there were literally ZERO cheese and ZERO of the promised? cremig cilantro? Dressing. I basically had a cabbage burrito with a small piece of pico. That's it. I go in, I know I like more protein than average people; so I ordered an extra chest with it. And thank God! But it was literally the smallest breast I? ve ever seen and was completely swallowed by the plate to which it was served! $15?! I can have a very generous meal with a lot better cotender for $15! El Pollo has a potentially good product, but they need a quality control! This is perhaps my fourth time TRYING to give them a shot over a period of 2-3 years. I always hope, somehow? Next time better. Get it together, Loco.

Called in a Uber order no answer to add items since I came do through app and most people done tread notes so called just to make sure and no answer?.. got my food finally and it was good but got a beef taco instead of chicken no flavor but it was good mac n cheese n mashed potatoes and half chicken and flour tortillas which should of been corn but it?s fine
