First Watch - Grand Prairie

Joined the waitlist 30 minutes before arrival for a party of 6 and still had to wait an hour when we arrived before walking out. We watched them seat around 6 8 party’s of 2’s and 4’s as soon as they walked in instead of pushing tables together to seat us. This is the second time this has happened here and both times we walked out. I guess this place is not equipped to take party’s larger than 4 people. I have been hearing people rave about how good their food is but I will never get a chance of tasting it. I will say that the manager came over and said he would give us some free bacon and a gift card but that’s not what we wanted. The manager sent someone to ask if we could separate our party and sit at different tables, 3 on one and 3 on the other. We were here as a family. It is very unprofessional. The manager offered us a free item and gift card. To me that is very insulting since I was there to eat and pay for my meal, I know he was just trying to make me happy but I am leaving this place with a bitter taste in my mouth.

I personally like this place, great space, delicious food, what I don't like is that people talk very loud and you can't enjoy the food because you can't hear. You need to go very early to be able to enjoy lunches or eat outside since the space outside is excellent.

Overall good atmosphere and service was great. Food was also very good, but I need to go back and try some more items ! I got the eggs benedict with smoked salmon and the kale tonic. My favorite item of this day was probably the kale tonic and potatoes. Eggs Benedict was still very good just didn't stick out as much to me. Will definitely be back.

We had a big party, all 10 of us loved our food! They place was great even though they were busy. Our service was on point.
