King Crab House - Grand Prairie

Thoroughly Disappointed, first and last time I will visit. Came with high expectations as a lot of Locals have recommended this place, especially my friend that I came with who had many good experiences prior to ours. 1 Service was awful. Young girl who hardly checked on us, and I had to go to the bar to ask for a refill and silverware/crab crackers. 2 Food was not great. Lucis Chicken on Main St has better catfish. This was subpar, flavorless, too greasy, and just not good. 3 Bathrooms were a wreck! Literally. No toilet paper or soap! (and yes I did take a pic so hopefully the owners see this and step it up. 4 I came in a party of 4 being two adults and two children, during non-peak hours, and still recieved bad service. We didn't even need much just the usual like refills, condiments, and napkins.

Decided to give this a second try. I thought we liked it the first time around but no! Service was horrible,my husband asked for shrimp fried rice and it had crawfish in it, he didn?t wanna make it a issue so he picked out the crawfish. Might have well said it was CRAWFISH fried rice,cause there was no shrimp in it! No where on the menu did it state it came with crawfish. A appetizer is a pre meal. It came out with our food. No Tabasco sauce, and was a hassle to get our ticket. I would highly NOT recommend this place. Waste of money if you ask me . Oh FYI the CATFISH taste extra muddy ????

On point seafood with the excellent service. I ordered Triple Your Lovin?s option of 1lb shrimp and 1/2 lb sausage, comes with 2 corns and 3 potatoes, for me and my two kids and that satisfied us. Their shrimps are fresh and large. Garlic butter and lemon pepper for the sauce can?t never go wrong. The restaurant is spacious and has sea feel decors. Sit and dine at the boat table if you like or take the bar. Large TV screens are for sport lovers. Servers are super nice and attentive. We felt welcomed when we came in and when we left. Highly recommended. Real plus : they are two minutes away from the awesome Epic Central Playground/ Indoor Water Park.

The absolute best seafood boil in Grand Prairie! Can always count on the shrimp not being over cooked and the combination of the flavors house special and hot is absolutely amazing! Drinks are inexpensive and soo good as well. Not to mention service is phenomenal!! My favorite restaurant!
