Feedback gevenMike Madrano stood uncomfortably close to me, and I felt threatened, fearing he might become physically aggressive. His demeanor changed only when my husband stepped in, as Mike seemed to believe he could intimidate me because I was alone. I firmly told him to back off, and he only did so when my husband intervened. The situation escalated when our hostess took us to the far back of the restaurant, despite there being plenty of free tables up front. After I repeatedly requested a front table, she seated two other guests in the area I had requested without any explanation. When I asked for the manager, instead of addressing our concerns, Kristen simply told us to leave, claiming there wasn’t a waiter available, which was clearly false, as other guests were being served in that area. Despite our calm demeanor, we left the restaurant disappointed and vocalized our unhappiness about how we were treated. We had gone there to enjoy a meal, not to experience such disrespect from a franchisee and his staff. I plan to share my experience on social media to raise awareness about the poor treatment we received and intend to reach out to the CEO of Texas Roadhouse on LinkedIn to share our story. When we called again to ask for the district manager's contact information, the assistant manager misleadingly claimed that Mike Madrano was the owner and didn’t report to anyone else. However, corporate confirmed that there is indeed a district manager he answers to. This isn’t an act of vindictiveness; it’s about holding bad behavior accountable. I will never return to Texas Roadhouse and will inform everyone I know through social media about this experience. Interestingly, a couple leaving the restaurant after us witnessed the situation and remarked that the staff was out of line in how they treated us.
Our waiter, Josh, was fantastic! He was incredibly sweet and kind, making our engagement dinner truly memorable.
I still can't seem to get a steak cooked properly here. My rare steak was lacking flavor, dry, and chewy. I might give Saltgrass a try next time.
The chicken critters (tenders) were perfectly cooked and delicious. Wife had the chicken breast and loved it but had to have a take out. Peanuts are back with bucket in a bag just don't throw them on the floor it is a slip hazard.
This restaurant is fantastic! Everything is fresh, and the service is excellent. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.
