Big Shawn’s Cheesesteaks

We spied this unpolished gem while shopping at the local Mediterranean grocery store. After reading some mixed reviews we gave it a chance. We were not disappointed. The store was busy. The staff was pleasant and hustling to get orders up. Our order appeared quickly and was delicious though maybe a just a tad salty. Cheesesteak with onions and American and Whiz. The bun was authentic and well grilled. I hope they grow and decide to install some bigger and better exhaust fans but fortunately its carry out.

Got the Philly Heat. Did not disappoint! Great flavor and the perfect amount of heat. I loved the cheez whiz on it. Really friendly service as well. Definitely a place I'll be returning to.

I DID NOT ORDER FOOD! Upon arrival one lady asked how I was doing and if I needed time I said yes. As I was looking a LOUD and RUDE employee came from the back. She was yelling at me about the menu and was very condescending and sarcastic when I asked questions about the menu. I ultimately decided not to order and left. The over all look of the establishment wasn?t the best but sometimes those sort of places have great food. It costs nothing to be nice! I will not give them my business!

Great for take out, everything is always super hot and fresh but the time we've gotten it home. The bread is fantastic, love that it's authentic. The service has always been friendly and fast. Ordering online makes everything much smoother too.

The best $20 Philly Cheese Steak sandwich in Grand Rapids. I had the Hot Philly, 10 combo and loved it. My first time here and I recommend it to all Philly lovers.
