Buddy's Pizza Grand Rapids

I've never spent so much for so little. I got the small four square pizza with motor City blend cheese. It was nothing but glorified cheese bread with little strips of unseasoned, too sweet marinara. It's really disappointing because I used to go to the Detroit locations as a kid and I was super excited. I never, ever leave bad reviews. I've been in food service for 25 years. But man, I hope this was just an off day or a poor choice on my part. Sorry, but I have to let people know. Terrible flavor, terrible pizza. Better luck next time.

My 5-year old and I have Pizza Fridays at Buddy's 5-6 times a year. What we have discovered is that their pizzas are inconsistent. When they are good, they are almost transcendent, but when they aren't good, we don't even bother to bring the leftovers home. I could easily upgrade another star for consistency, but could easily down grade one if the quality slipped any more.

If you love deep dish pizza, this is your place!Each time I have been here the staff is always friendly and food is always great. They are great if you come in with kids as well.If you want deep dish pizza, Buddy's is the way to go.

We sat outside and our waitress was fantastic. She was on the ball and super friendly, even though it was a busy night! She made great recommendations and made us feel very welcome.The pizza was delicious, we each got a 4 corner. Great all around, we'd recommend to everyone!!

Buddy's is great for kids and adults. The pizzas loaded with cheese (a little light on toppings) and very good. The bread sticks are awesome, and we shared a Greek salad that was delicious!!
